Refund & Cancellation Policy

At TechLift Digital, we are committed to providing high-quality digital education, software, and AI services. We operate with transparency and expect the same from our users. This policy outlines the strict terms under which refunds may be considered. Please read this carefully before making any purchase.

1. Refund Philosophy

Refunds are not automatic and are not a right. We do not offer "no-questions-asked" refunds or "money-back guarantees" unless explicitly stated for a specific promotional campaign (which will have its own distinct terms).

Purchasing a course, software license, or digital service implies that you have reviewed the curriculum, features, and requirements. Refunds are granted solely at the discretion of TechLift Digital management and only under specific, verifiable circumstances.

2. Eligible Scenarios for Consideration

Refunding is rare, but we may consider requests in the following specific cases:

  • Duplicate Payment: If you were charged twice for the same transaction due to a technical error.
  • Order Status: If a digital product fails to activate/provision after payment and our support team cannot resolve it within 7 business days.
  • Service Non-Delivery: If a scheduled live cohort or professional service is cancelled entirely by TechLift Digital.

3. Non-Refundable Items & Services

We strictly DO NOT offer refunds for:

  • Accessed Digital Content: Once you have accessed the Learning Management System (LMS), viewed course videos, or downloaded software/materials.
  • AI Computation: Fees paid for "Beta" or "Experimental" AI features are non-refundable as these incur immediate computational costs via third-party providers.
  • Token/Credit Usage: If you have consumed any allocated AI tokens, credits, or API calls, the service is considered consumed.
  • Change of Mind: Requests based on "personal reasons," "no longer needed," or "not what I expected" (where product features were clearly listed).

4. SaaS Subscriptions & Automatic Renewals

For recurring subscription products:

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your dashboard. Cancellation prevents the NEXT billing cycle.
  • No Pro-Rata Refunds: Cancellation of an active monthly/yearly plan does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining days of the current period.

5. Exclusions & Deductions

Approved refunds are subject to the following non-negotiable deductions:

  • GST & Taxes: Statutory taxes paid to the government are non-refundable.
  • Payment Gateway Fees: Processing fees charged by Razorpay, PhonePe, or other gateways (typically 2-4%) are non-reversible.
  • Administrative Fee: A 10% administrative fee for handling manual refund requests.

6. Refund Request Process

Requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the transaction date.

  1. Email contact@techliftdigital.in with the subject: "Refund Request - [Order ID]".
  2. Include proof of the technical issue or duplicate payment.
  3. Requests past the 48-hour window are automatically rejected as per digital industry standards.

7. Dispute Resolution

Filing a chargeback without contacting our support team first will result in an immediate and permanent ban from all TechLift Digital platforms. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
